Thinking of a trip to the Valley in the week leading up to Thanksgiving this year, i.e. 23 November through...?

I tried to do the same last year, but all my friends decided to go see their stupid families instead, so Plan B was coastal paddling for that week (which I may just end up doing again, 'cause it was pretty fucking sweet).

But hell, I want to climb in the Valley, and nobody ever wants to flounder on these wide jobs with me.  Who knows what the weather will be doing then, but it's often still glorious, or at least long-sleeves weather, so I'm starting to throw it out there.  Figured I'd extend the open invite on here, too.  Anybody game for some wide groveling in November?  I suck, but I gots a few big cams, I'm a patient belay, and sometimes I take a lot of photos.

Oh yeah, and I like beer, long walks on the beach, and I'm a Scorpio.

Looks like I have a decent little posse of drop-ins coming together for much of the Sunday-Sunday span, so it looks like I'll probably be in the Valley for that week, weather depending of course.  The roster for Thurs. and Friday is looking thin, however, if anybody wants some wide.

Since it's forecast to drop a whole lotta rain over the next couple of days, I'm thinking we might wander up to Little Wing and Audubon Buttress on Sunday.  Anybody know if Wild Turkey is top-ropable? The Monster Offwidth page says you want 8-10 pieces in the 5-6" range, but A) I ain't got that much wide gear at my disposal, B) I'm not sure I'd want to drag all that gear up there anyways, and C) my pardner would never have the patience to watch me flail on that thing on lead after hiking all the way up there. Just thinking it might make a nice TR end-of-day session if we end up there.  Alternatively, if anybody's interested, maybe we could join up a few racks and make it happen.  Your lead though.  I ain't climbed shite in the last few months, so D) it would almost certainly be above my pay-grade to try and lead right now.

if it rains, do Gollum or the Kaukulator.  Both pretty dry if I recall.
