Is this where you put the arm in and then make a bicep curl like move to jam the fatty part of the elbow/near end of forearm and have it expand as you curl?

I can sometimes get an elbow lock when I cant get a knee in for a knee bar. I have tried gastoning above the elbow lock and below it. Below it seems to work better, as I can then slide the elbow up and reset it, then move gaston and and feet. Its really strenuous and the movements are very small.
