Or loan? I've never done a Wall and assumed I never would. A couple young guns asked me to climb the Salathe with them and although they assure me borrowing stuff will be No Problem, I need to take some time to actually learn how to do it right and acquire some stamina. And learn something about hauling. And how to stand in aid slings.
Please Advise.

Hey Scuff, I've got a single ledge (no fly), grade V haulbag, big wall harness, a couple sets of ets, a set of yellow jumars and a wall hauler that you're more than welcome to borrow. Some of it I even sewed myself at the animal nickname copperhead gulag. If I can get a ride down to the AntiChrist one of these nights I'll pack the junk show along. With Ed on the 'dig yourself a hole' road to Lost Arrow Direct, Zander talking about Basket Dome, and Jaybro/Colonel heading up the Zodiac, summer 2011 is brimming with potential.

Thanks, guys.
I'm definitely the weak link in this team, which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. They both free climb a lot harder than I, they both know how to aid, which I don't, they've both done walls and one of them can actually climb OW, too.

Most likely, we have some for you...depending on when you need them. You'll have a great time. Try to win the rochambeau on as many of the wide pitches as you can!

I have to put in a bunch of times actually figuring how to use all these things. I have a grigri and a mini traxion for backup etc. The kids have ledge, hauler who knows what... I have the big cams. I probably can get the Hollow Flake pitch. I get Half Dollar and Ear, there are rumors we will go up Monster Offwidth instead of the Alcove side of El Cap Spire, I'd guess we will waste some time on that and all three of us climb it. I can't imagine jumaring past it.

very cool scuff! give us a time when and we'll shoot you!! (photog stuff only, no Stinger missiles, which would have no problem finding your smoking hot OW technique)

Slated for June. I'm on the DL right now, but I need to get in some miles on the wall-specific skills.

If you're up for a day at PGSF this weekend, let me know. I can pass along some gear. Aid climbing dark arts and secrets will have to come from others in the coven.

I'm not up for PGSF for quite some time now, 30-day disabled list, then see what develops. It sounds like VLG Melissa and Jaybro all have some plans, so Russ will probably be my best bet. Crotch is kindly sending me some ascenders, and I will consult Russ regarding my other needs. I can still use a laser pointer, though, so when the weather clears the Plywood Anti-christ will be open for bizness.
