Just measured mine between some boxes..... calf is 5" and knee is 5".... actually a bit less on the knee, but with pants....  I've always claimed that it took about a 6" crack to be able to get my battle ready knee in there.....  Damn.... I have fat knees.

BTW Ed, I don't think it was chiding over form, more of missed opportunity. squandering an opportunity to invert.  Some find such opportunites as fortuitous as finding money on the street!

Three light years late for the BBQ, but I remember talking to Rick Cashner and Mussy about the 'all left-side in' theory of the Valley. Rick said that the observation came from Dale Bard, who shouldn't be too hard to pin down. Plus he'd have the goods on the Jaws FA.

Anyhow, I'll hunt around and see if I can find that Patagonia photo of Dean Potter soloing BAM in Mocassyms. I think he was on his vision quest to become the pastry flour dusted cover model for Outside. Or his bid at an Abercrombie and Fitch sponsorship if this rock climbing gig didn't pan out.

No perceived ill will in any way, Ed.
