A few years back we went and checked out Chrysler Crack on a restday, as sandstone quarry really didn't draw a whole lot of interest beyond this route for me. We(the brother and I) just walked up to scope it and have a smoke under it, see the area etc...we really didn't want to lug the gear up...but when I was saw it up close, I wished I had....or at least some shoes

I climb up partway and back off...then Pat runs up it in approachies...



Interesting side note:

Chrysler Crack is 5.8 in the redbook, 5.9 in the swain guide, and 5.10 in the Brock guide...
