Funny but true about the protection. When I led it we had nothing bigger than a #10 hex
and lack of big gear was not an issue at all.
I was stuck in the crux for a while; there is a little pod that didn't want to let go of my knee.
Peter Haan once had to rescue a climber from the same spot, by climbing up to him and
giving the guy a broad back to stand on while he wiggled his knee out.

If anyone can get John Bald to post up about climbing it with the 'Wee-fox' now there's a story, sorta...
