OK, Folks, most of us (I almost said many) are interested in Kaukulators. eBay is probably
the most likely source.
I'm not 100% attentive, but I habitually look for them, and I bid on most of them that are
offered. I've bought at least 6 pair in various sizes, as well as a couple from Craig's list
(which I almost never check).
I also directed Healyje toward a pair.
THE POINT:
I'm probably going to bid on the next ones I see. My eBay handle is scuffy b.
I may or may not have a friend in mind when I bid.
There have been a few cases where I got aced at the finish, with the price going up a lot.
I don't want any of you to pay 50 or 75 bucks instead of 30.
If you see me going for a pair you want, let me know. I'd rather give them up than let the
price get high.
Miwok, J-brah, Gary and Aaron all have Kaukulators that I bought on eBay.
Anybody interested in a pair of brown 38, perfect condition?

That word rolls off the tongue nicely.
I know 4 people who all want 42 1/2.

I've probably bid against you a few times.  I'm a 42, but also have a pair of 42.5 for walls.

I've got a pair of Megas for sale.  I'll have to check size when I get home, but they're either 42 or 42.5.  Probably 42.

I'm bidding on a pair of 39.5 Blue Kaukulators right now. 180209166473 is the number.
They probably won't fit me well, but maybe for Jaybro or someone else...

The Kaukulators are still in progress.
I saw a pair of Tao Rosas, I think maybe Tarbuster's size (though I know he preferred the black Lorica
uppers) but amazingly enough I was outbid. Like, that's not obscure enough?
I landed a pair of 41 Enduros, though.
Maybe not a Kaukulator when push really comes to shove, but a good shoe to destroy in
practice cracks.

Alas, the 39.5 Kaukulators were won by somebody else.
They went for $51.

EDIT: just in case the buyer of these shoes feels smug about getting them for only $51,
bear in mind that I could have landed them for $26 and sent them to you.
That remark , of course, is only meaningful if the winner is reading this.

Wilber, they're yours.
Where are you? I'll tell you why I ask.
I pulled my #1 face climbing shoes (tight but very well broken in Syncros)
my #1 all around shoe (bigger Syncro)
and #1 wide crack shoe (blue Kaukulator)
out of use so I could send them off for repairs.
The Kaukulators have only been sitting in the box since last April,
but the two pairs of Syncro have been there for over a year.
I seem to have trouble shipping things. I'm good at receiving,
though, and hand delivery is my preferred option.

Well, I live in Laramie, WY.  I won't be climbing any OW's for a while, though I don't know how we would fare meeting up unless you are close by.  Let me know.  I'm in no rush though.

I don't think I'll make it out that way until August.
City of Rocks or Boulder Batholith in June, though.
Well, I have plenty of boxes. Oughta be able to get em out
within a few months.
Wilber, were you around Vedauwoo last August?

I was around of course, but I unfortunately didnt participate in the Vedauwoo Boogaloo.  Sounds like you guys had a great time.  Is this boulder batholith the place out side of Butte?  If so, if there is a wide fest there, I would love to come up.  That place looks sweet.  A box would be fine too though.

I'm sure I can get them to you by the time Vedauwoo is reasonable.
Yes, there's a movement to get a Butte area gathering. It looks like
a lot of good rounded wide and thin stuff there.
There's more discussion of it on SuperTopo than on this forum.
Thread title is something like Montana Gathering.

I won a pair of La Sportiva Evolution in my size. Some model that came along when
I was not paying attention. I'll catalog the differences when they arrive in the mail.

I've got an old pair of Kaukulators that were too small for me and I only wore them a few times. Somewhere around 42-23 size range I think. I'll send you details when I dig em out scuff.

Zander came down to my place last night (WIDE WEDNESDAY).
He mentioned that he was talking to someone at the Berkeley gym
who was stoked about picking up a pair of Kaukulators on eBay
very recently.
Zander was amused when I told him this guy could have saved
big bucks by not bidding against me. They were going to be SO CHEAP.

The 39 1/2 Kaukulators that I lost out on...
got 'em.
I was leaving the gym in Santa Cruz after my nice relaxing sauna,
and their were these wholesome looking young folks at the counter
signing in, and the young woman had a pair of Kaukulators in front
of her.
I said, first off, "Want to sell those shoes?"
Well, they're mine now. I mean, Jay's. Unless they don't fit.
It really is the same pair.

Thats weird to hear about Kuakulators, I ask some young guy at a local store and he started laughing at me and thought it was a joke, so I left it at that.
