Climb Tech wave glue in bolts, thoughts?

The Chimp:

--- Quote from: garryr on July 29, 2020, 07:52:58 am ---I've placed a bunch of the 8mm version but the 6mm looked too skimpy for me so I switched to the 8mm  twisted leg bolt from Bolt Products.
Takes a bit of practice to get the right amount of glue in the hole but with some thin wooden shims and a container it's easy to deal with the overflow.

Then there's the issue with setup time. If it's hot I use Hilti epoxy for the long open time.

Titt bolts for the win. As is anything named after funbags.

That said, Wave Bolts, with their interference fit, are a good choice for very steep (horizontal) rock.
