Stupid Question
« on: January 21, 2023, 08:00:32 pm »
Can you put a 2 x 4 behind a 6" cam to get 8", and if so then do you have to use tape or string or just throw it in there?  Thanks.

Sure... but it is really only 7.5" due to the way lumber is measured.  Drill a hole, tie some string, clip in in with the cam.  If you are trying this while free climbing, you are a bolder he/him/they/us than me.
