It definitely hasnt been the same since Reno and the Fish/Chums sponsored parties @ Deux Gros Nez (RIP) with live Music by the Mudsharks, watching Bridwell hit on the showgirls from the Flamingo till 3am!
But we get by with what we encounter!!!

So I got a birthday coming up! Besides getting me one of those Bard /Yerian cracks, you guys should pool your money and get me one of thee Tinian (SP?) electric pickups! 4wd ( 4 motors) can go through three foot deep puddles, 400 miles / charge, 0-6in 3 seconds. Starting at only $59k!

Hoh man one time my training partner and I went to Deux Gros Nez. We were looking at the menus and I told the waiter "Ill have the Rhubarb Pie." And my partner "Roger says I'll have the Peach one." The waiter brings out the pie and starts to cut a piece out . I said to him what fuck are you doing? He stops looks at me and says "I'm sorry I thought you wanted a piece of pie?" I told him no.... I want the hole pie all of it. I think they charged like $7.00 a slice back then. He starts adding it up oh my god I can't charge you for that. I told him I didn't care about the price just give me the dam pie. "We were laughing with the waiter..... not at him. He gave us both the pies and each of got a quart of Milk. The waiter could not believe that we both ate the Pies and drank all of our milk. He ended up giving us a big break on the price and we left him a big fat tip as he made us laugh. Roger is the fourth guy from the left.
On a side note he was a bodybuilder that would go climbing with me. He once got his leg stuck in a 4th class OW slot. Roger was staining so much to get his big ass up the 4th class slot that his leg swelled up with blood from being pumped. We had to wait like five minutes for all the blood to get out of his quads before we continue climbing.

Yeah :) I also ran into Tommy Herbert he had asked If I had heard anything about him. I laughed as we had just talked. So I gave Tommy his info. He and Tommy grew up together I believe. I know they climbed a shit load together. Tommy was pretty happy to get his info. I told him about how he was feeling still quite down from his lose as to be expected. I feel for the guy no one should have to go through that kind of pain and suffering in life.

They frequented that place often back in the day. Not sure who I was with this day at the cave years ago when I struggled to get up a few of those routes. Mike Carville most likely.
