It’s a great place, alas many crags, which include the chief proper, are subject to increasing levels of noise from the sea to sky hiway; this is the main drag for accessing the whistler ski area plus many folks commute from squam to yvr. There are many gems tucked away in the forests though, one just needs a bit of time to peel back the moss layers to get at the buried treasure.
This pic was forwarded yesterday from a friend who made significant contributions to the adventure ethos of climbing; its of his 16 yr old son cleaning a crag spied while oitbon a mtn bike ride.

if you swing out past arms reach you can feather in your efforts and the bird watchers wont notice so easily

those bird watchers really know how to bring the hammer down.
